Seat of House Buckler, standing on the road between Storm's End and the kingswood in the north of the stormlands. The castle takes its name from its ancient gate of hammered bronze, green with age yet strong as the day it was hung.
The Northern Road
Hosts marching between King's Landing and Storm's End have long made camp beneath Bronzegate's walls, and the Bucklers have greeted kings and rebels alike at their bronze doors. Their golden bucklers on a field of sky blue have flown beside the crowned stag in most of the stormlands' wars.
