Seat of House Westerling, perched on the cliffs of the western coast north of Casterly Rock. Once a strong castle of a rich house, the Crag has fallen half into ruin, its towers crumbling above the sea.
Old Blood, Thin Purse
The Westerlings are of the First Men, an old and proud line that has given queens to the west in ages past. Yet their mines failed long ago, and the lords of the Crag have lacked the gold to keep their walls in repair, holding to their honor when little else remained.
The Broken Towers
Half the castle stands open to wind and rain, its roofless halls given over to gulls. The family keeps to the sound portions of the keep, and from the battlements that remain the watch looks out over the grey waters of the Sunset Sea.
