Seat of House Crakehall, a great castle on the sea road in the south of the westerlands, where the coast road runs down toward the marches of the Reach. Its brindled boar banner is borne by some of the largest and strongest knights in the west.
The Boar's Den
The men of House Crakehall are famed for their size and strength, and their forests are thick with the boars they love to hunt. Many a squire has been fostered at Crakehall to learn arms in its yards, and its lords have served the west with distinction in every war.
The Sea Road
Crakehall guards the road that binds Lannisport to the towns of the northern Reach, and travelers upon it shelter beneath the castle's walls. Whoever would march up the coast into the west must reckon first with the boars of Crakehall.
