Seat of House Prester, standing upon the great cape that thrusts into the Sunset Sea west of Casterly Rock. The red ox of the Presters has grazed these headlands since the days of the First Men.
Fires on the Point
The castle's name recalls the beacon fires kindled upon its headland, which have guided ships toward Lannisport and warned the coast of ironborn sails in equal measure. On feast nights the fires burn high, and sailors say Feastfires alight can be seen from many leagues out to sea.
The Cape Lands
The Presters hold broad pasturelands across the cape, and their herds are counted among the finest in the west. Their lords have served Casterly Rock faithfully in war and council, and the ox of Feastfires has trodden many a distant battlefield beneath western banners.
