Seat of House Piper, standing above the upper waters of the Red Fork where the river road runs west toward the hills. The castle takes its name from the dancing maiden of the Piper banner, and its lords have long guarded the southwestern marches of the riverlands.

Pinkmaiden watches the roads that climb toward the Golden Tooth and the lands of the westerlords beyond. When war comes down out of the hills, as it has many a time, the Pipers are among the first to feel it, and the first to ride. Their lords are known through the riverlands as quick to laugh, quick to anger, and loyal to Riverrun through fire and flood.
