Seat of House Ryswell in the western North, amid the streams and grazing lands that give the holding its name. The Rills lie between the Barrowlands and the Stony Shore, a country of grass and running water better suited to herds than to harvests.
The Horse Country
The Rills breed the finest horses in the North, and the wealth and pride of House Ryswell have ever run on four legs. The black horse's head upon their golden banner proclaims it, and the sons of the house have taken bronze, gold, and black horse heads for their own devices in turn.
