Seat of House Sarsfield, standing at a crossroads in the heart of the westerlands north of Lannisport, where the river road meets the ways into the hills. Castle and house share a name, as is the custom among many of the older lines of the west.
The Crossroads
Travelers bound between the Golden Tooth, the northern coast, and Lannisport pass beneath Sarsfield's towers, and the castle has grown modestly prosperous on their custom. Its market green fills on feast days with folk from the surrounding farms and hill villages.
The Green Arrow
The Sarsfields bear a green arrow on their banners, and their bowmen are reckoned among the finest in the west. In the hosts of Casterly Rock the archers of Sarsfield have ever held an honored place.
