Seat of House Jordayne, standing on the shore of the Sea of Dorne in the northeast of the realm. The Tor looks out over calm waters toward Cape Wrath, and its lords have long favored wit and letters over the spear.
The Golden Quill
The Jordaynes bear a golden quill upon dark blue, an odd device for a Dornish house, yet fitting for a line famed more for learning than for war. It is said the lords of the Tor keep one of the finest libraries south of the Boneway, and that their maesters never lack for work.
The Quiet Coast
The northern shore of Dorne is gentler country than the deserts and mountains behind it, and the Tor's fisherfolk and traders live better than most. When war does come across the Sea of Dorne, the castle's beacons carry word down the coast to Ghost Hill and on to Sunspear.
