The ruined seat of House Crabb, standing on a cliff above the sea amid the pines and bogs of Crackclaw Point. Its walls have long since tumbled and its halls stand open to the sky, yet the smallfolk of the Point still shun the place after dark.
The Whispering Heads
Legend tells of Ser Clarence Crabb, a giant of a knight who rode an aurochs and struck the heads from wizards, lords, and kings, carrying them home to his keep. His woods-witch wife would kiss the heads back to life, and they would counsel him in murmurs; it is their whispering, the tales say, that can still be heard among the broken stones, giving the castle its name.
